Who we are

getpintail.com and Pintail are operated by SOULRISE LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we”, “us”). By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms.

The website

You can read, link to and share anything on getpintail.com. Please don’t try to break it, overload it or use it to send anything harmful. The illustrations on the site show how Pintail works; they aren’t recordings of real sessions.

The waitlist

Joining the list is free and doesn’t commit you to anything. We use your email address only as the privacy policy says.

Buying Pintail

Pintail isn’t on sale yet. When it is: Pintail is a one-time purchase, with no subscription. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record: it sells the license to you, takes the payment, handles taxes, sends the receipt and your license key, and processes refunds. Its terms apply to the checkout.

The app includes 100 free read-outs so you can try it before you buy. A read-out counts once a reply actually made a sound; replaying it doesn’t count again.

Your license

• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pintail on up to 3 Macs that you use.
• You can move the license to another Mac from the app. That frees a spot.
• You may not resell, rent or share your license key, and you may not copy, decompile, reverse engineer or modify the app, except where the law allows it regardless of these terms.
• The app, the duck and the rest of Pintail stay ours. The license lets you use them; it doesn’t sell them to you.

OpenRouter and other services

Pintail doesn’t sell voice credits. The voice (and a cloud summary, if you pick one) runs on your own OpenRouter account, with your key, under OpenRouter’s terms. You pay OpenRouter for what you use. Your coding agents (Claude Code, Codex) and their providers have their own terms, and Pintail doesn’t change them.

As is

Pintail is made by one developer. I test it on my own Mac every day, but it’s provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Summaries are written by language models and can be wrong or leave things out. Read the full reply before you act on something that matters.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for anything related to Pintail or this website is limited to the amount you paid for Pintail.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of the country you live in.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida, have jurisdiction, unless the consumer law of your country says otherwise.

Changes

If these terms change, we update them here and change the date at the top. The version you accepted when you bought Pintail keeps applying to that purchase.
